Fabric Land
Fabric land refers to land that is given toward the maintainance, repair, or rebuilding of a cathedral or other church. This term derives from funds given to repair the fabric of the church. This term was most commonly used during ancient times. In ancient times almost everyone gave his/her will or less for the purpose of repairing the fabric of the church where they lived.[Nat'l Trust for Historic Preservation v. United States Dep't of Veterans Affairs, 2010 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 32015 (E.D. La. Mar. 31, 2010)].
